Purpose of the program “I Renovate-I Rent” is to subsidize and make available for rent at least 12,500 closed houses.
The maximum subsidized cost of renovation is set at 13,500 Euros and the subsidy rate is 60%, meaning that for a renovation costing 13,500 Euros, the subsidy that will be received is 8,000 Euros.
The subsidy amount will be granted on condition that the relevant invoices have been paid electronically and that, after the renovation, the owners proceed with a lease of at least three years.
Program requirements
- Residential area up to 100 sq m in a residential area.
- Beneficiaries must have at least 50% usufruct or full ownership to apply to the program.
- The annual family income should not exceed 40,000 Euros and the total real estate should not exceed 300,000 Euros.
- Eligible properties are those that were declared as vacant during the E2 declaration of the last three years.
- Beneficiaries must not have received subsidies for the energy upgrade or renovation of any of their properties in the last five years.
